We know how time consuming it can be to organize a segment of traffic for your pop ups, because we’re in there creating them every day alongside you.
That’s why we have added our new basic targeting page to help you quickly set up audiences, especially the most common and effective that we recommend. In this quick video, we walk you through how to set up a rule that shows to new visitors that have been on the site for 15 seconds, and have not clicked through an email (current url does not equal “utm_source=email”) :
As you can see, we’ve broken the options into categories to allow you to create an audience based on the user’s action on a page, their traffic source, how any times they’ve been on your site, how long they’ve been on the site, and more. You can even start building a rule on the basic page, switch over to to the advanced page (which you’re likely familiar with), and keep customizing from there!
New Rule Alert: You’ll notice on both targeting pages that you can now target a user who has scrolled a certain percentage down the page. Use this on your mobile promotions, blogs, and other lengthier pages that may indicate an engaged visitor.
